So the story goes…Sometime around 1910 a northern California craftswoman created an art glass shade for a Colonel stationed at Fort Bragg. She called the design Inglenook and made quite a few thereafter as it turned out to be quite popular. Like all things, time passed and the design fell out of favor and was lost in the mist of the Great Depression then World War II and all that followed afterward. Quoizel found and revived the design for their Mission Line. They stayed as authentic as they could constructing the shade of 100% art glass handcrafted in authentic Mission colors: Sapphire Blue, Warm Honey, Sand Amber and Cream Beige. Very well sized at 7″ high, 16″ wide, 5.5″ wall extension and well lit with 2 x 60-watts candelabra. Very authentic Mission at a good price.
